Daniel Driensky

I ad the pleasure to shoot on Sunday with a really incredible photographer, Daniel Driensky. I met him through my good friend (and amazing model buddy) Tammy G when they were nice enough to let me crash their dinner celebrating Daniels birthday a couple of weeks ago.

The shoot was so much fun, super relaxed and easy...and Daniel was a total joy to be around...personally and artistically. He used his insider status to get us some vintage dresses to play in - and got me WAY out of my comfort zone - shooting me in the woods in less makeup than i've ever worn on film.

The best part is...he made me a WHOLE GALLERY from our shoot on his web site...which not only rules...but makes me feel super special.

Please go see my gallery here - and call Daniel for ANY photography needs you may have...he is an incredible artist and a completely rad human being. TRUST.

NEW PHOTOS!!

So i don't really do much pin-up...but I recently had the pleasure of working with a rad group in Fort Worth called Dynamite Dames. The shoot was sort of a "bad girl" pin-up type of thing...and i think it turned out pretty well. I was able to work with the lovely Amber DeVille again...and was fortunate enough to model some Dollskin Designs latex...oh how i love latex...

Take a look

NEW PHOTOS!!

Here's some new stuff I did for House Of Mob and Luscious Eve - a duo of completely amazing Dallas designers who specialize in steampunk-inspired clothing and accessories. For this 2010 collection, they partnered on some one-of-a-kind ready-to-wear pieces - and came up with some incredibly unique and beautiful ensembles.

Go here to see the collection so far...and see below for my part...this is my blog, after all :)

NOTE:
I will be appearing in a House of Mob/Luscious Eve Fashion Show on March 26th at Extinction (the Church, Dallas). Be there!

Dolce Mia is MAGIC!

I'm not afraid to admit it - i've always had super dry skin. During the winter, my hands are often so dry that they peel and crack and become an overall gross mess. Not cute. I am always on the hunt for moisturizing, softening, non-greasy lotion that doesn't smell like a hospital or a chemical factory. So far...no luck...until I met DOLCE MIA.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for ANY skincare and make-up, especially when it comes complete with uber-sassy vintage design packaging, is completely paraben-free, hypo-allergenic and safe for sensitive skin!!

My dear Cousin Amy starting doing rep work a few months ago for this small, California-based bath and body line. It sounded cool, sure...but i hadn't really experienced any of the products until recently. I started with the "Shea Butter Lotion" in what has become my favorite scent in the line: Mango Tangerine. Not only did it smell AMAZING...it also absorbed quickly, softened my hands and took away my dry spots - AND (BONUS!) it wasn't greasy and heavy like every single other scented lotion I've ever used in my life...ever. The coolest part: this magic lotion comes in normal-sized pump bottles for your house AND is available in tiny pot sized versions for your handbag. MAGICCCCCCCCC!!!! Other great scents: Vintage Floral (w/Tuberose), Ambery Lavender, Sweet Almond, Tropical Citrus, etc etc...

I have also used Dolce Mia Bar Soap (currently holding a place of honor in my shower), Scented Hand Sanitizer (YES!) and Hand Soap - all equally impressive. I really can't stop talking about how great this line is...

Click here for more info and to make a purchase (I recommend starting with the Shea Butter Lotion).

I will await your Thank You notes :)

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I have had this thing for nearly a year...all saved in pretty colors, complete with logo (compliments of my rad friend Ty)...and this is the first official post. So I'm behind...but what can I say...i'm technologically stunted.

I'm not sure what i plan to do with it exactly, but i can make the following promises:
1. It will be disjointed, random and occasionally won't make any sense.
2. I will probably post a lot of things that are funny to me. (This does not guarantee that these things will be funny to you)
3. I will talk a lot about my obsession with fashion, online shopping, designers and their bios, funny animal photos and youtube videos.
4. I will rant and rave and have strong opinions...both positive and negative.
5. I will occasionally talk about myself - fun things i do...photos i take...and shows i'm in. This blog is, after all, about me :).
6. In that same vein, i can guarantee that i will talk about my pets. A lot.

So there it is...i hope you enjoy...and if not...i'm sure there's an "unsubscribe" button somewhere. Feel free to comment, agree and disagree - feedback is always appreciated.

Hopefully i will get in the swing of updating this regularly...but we shall see...

Til then,
StC
